We start this jig set with one that possesses one of the more colorful tune names. Your guess as to its meaning is as good as ours, but it is fun to speculate. Jimmy Ward was a founder of the Kilfenora Ceili Band and was still playing with them when they won three All-Ireland championships in a row, 1954-56. A pratie hole is for storing potatoes.
